Fat Free Sweet Potatoes

Enjoy caramelized sweet potato fries baked in the oven with no added fat!

 500 g Sweet Potato
 ½ tsp Garlic Powder
 ½ tsp Salt
 ½ tsp Paprika
 ½ tsp Black Pepper

Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

With a sharp knife, cut the sweet potatoes into wedges approximately 3/4-inch thick.

Spread the sweet potatoes out on the baking sheet as much as possible. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, paprika, and some black pepper, to taste.

Place the baking sheet on the middle rack of the oven and roast for 12 Minutes

Open the oven door. Flip the sweet potatoes, then continue roasting for 10 Minutes longer.

Remove from oven when the sweet potatoes are tender and slightly charred at the edges.

Serve immediately. Garnish with chopped scallions as desired.
